Parenting class at CCLC
The Child Care and Learning Center will hold its monthly parenting class at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14 at the Center. This month’s topic is “Understanding Young Children.” Class will follow a lecture and discussion format. The meeting is open to the public and free of charge. Foxhunting postponed
Due to the extremely dry weather conditions the Rappahannock Hunt has decided to postpone all foxhunting until conditions improve. Master of Fox Hounds Larry LeHew said this action will take effect immediately and is being done with respect to our landowners and their property. Foxhunting will resume as conditions warrant.
Auction at Castleton
The Castleton Volunteer Fire Department will hold an auction beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 15. Bill Payne will be the auctioneer. If you have any items you would like to donate please call 937-6051. “Help your fire department help you,” said a spokesperson.

CODA to meet
Co-Dependents Anonymous (CODA) will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Mondays at Trinity Episcopal Church. CODA assists in recovery from disfunctional family backgrounds resulting in establishing healthy relationships with yourself and others.
