'The Doctor' at The Theatre

"The Doctor," starring William Hurt and Christine Lahti, will be shown at The Theatre at Washington, Va., 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10.

Hurt, a master surgeon, gets so lost in the heady stratosphere of success that he loses his soul and his wife, played by Lahti. Divine intervention strips him of his success and power until he sees the light and prescribes his own personal diagnosis: it's time for the doctor to see what it feels like to be a patient.

Rated PG-13. Tickets are $4 for adults and $3 for children.
