I am writing to express my thanks and gratitude to all the people who supported and worked for me and my campaign over the past four months. Being part of the democratic process has been an enlightening and invigorating process, and one that I am glad to participate in.

In reference to the article on homeschooling which appeared in the Oct. 24 issue of the Rappahannock News, I’m glad that your paper is interested in those in the county who are learning at home, but disappointed in the way in which we came across in the story.
