When the Board of Supervisors held a public hearing on the school budget last Thursday, almost no one from the public came out.
School Board Chairman Beverly Massie said she was heartened to see so many cars out in front of the high school when she drove up. “I thought maybe we’d generated a lot of interest,” she said.
