Deidre Leigh Welch and John Michael Vest of Virginia Beach were united in marriage on Saturday, April 25.
The 4 p.m. double ring ceremony was held at Nimmo’s United Methodist Church in Virginia Beach. The Rev. Ed Martin officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Charles Welch of Front Royal and Marcel Robinson of Warrenton.
The groom is the son of Michael and Janet Vest of Virginia Beach.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a silk Shantek dress with beaded and sequin Alonson lace that extended to a chapel length train.
The bride chose her twin sister, Karen Williams of Flint Hill, to serve as her matron of honor.
Her bridesmaids were Tracy Guidice and Karen Bowling, both of Flint Hill and Bridget Robinson of Warrenton, all sisters of the bride, Leigh Gomez, sister of the groom, of Sandbridge, Teresa Vest, sister-inlaw of the groom, of Virginia Beach and Tammy Bunch, friend of the bride, of Front Royal.
They wore Failee black and white dresses accented with bows and carried bouquets of lillies.
