The Rappahannock Supervisors
on Monday received a request for a zoning ordinance amendment to allow archery, skeet, trap and target shooting ranges in an agricultural zone by special use permit. The proposed amendement was presented by Washington attorney Peter Luke on behalf of Robert and Ruth Bowers, who own and operate Blue Ridge Guns in Amissville.
Residents of Stonewall-Hawthome District are seeking • a change in their representation on the county school board. On Monday, the supervisors received a petition with 180 signatures supporting the appointment of Jimmy Cannon to the seat now held by Nelson Lane. Lane’s term expires June 30, 1082.*
