Mrs. Cosner was bom June 1, 1946, in Rappahannock County, the daughter of Lelia Elizabeth Smoot Jenkins of New Market and the late Thurman Reed Jenkins.
Surviving with her mother are her husband, Ronald Dorris Cosner; three daughters, Tammy Annette Lease and Shawna Elaine Atkins, both of Strasburg and Thelma Lorraine Smoot of Nineveh; two stepsons, Ronald Luther Cosner and Jason Paul Cosner, both of Nineveh; a step-daughter, Doris Ann Cosner of Woodstock; a brother, Junior Reed Jenkins of Stephens City; a sister, Alice Juanita Nicholson of Culpeper and four grandchildren.
Kathleen Williams
Kathleen Blanche Mills Williams, 69, of Front Royal, died Monday, April 27 at the Hillcrest Nursing Home in Winchester.
A graveside service was conducted Wednesday, April 29 in Prospect Hill Cemetery’ by the Rev. Jerry Young.
Mfs. Williams was born Dec. 24, 1922, in Huntly, the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Ella Elkins Mills. She was a resident of Huntly for many years and a past employee of the National Fruit Company in Winchester. She was a member of Marlow Heights Baptist Church and the wife of the late Jacob Lloyd Williams.
Surviving are three daughters. Evelyn Joan Thomas and Janie Lee Cullers, both of Front Royal and Geneva Ann Hanna of Middletown; three brothers, Gilbert Mills of White Post and Samuel Mills and David Mills, both of Front Royal; four sisters, Dorothy Smith and Della Day, both of Front Royal, Virginia Kenney of Strasburg and Mabel Updike of Winchester; five grandchildren and a great-grandson.
