No charges have been filed following a single-vehicle accident at 2 a.m. April 22 on U.S. 522, one-tenth of a mile south of Route 662, according to Sgt. G.A. Morris of the State Police.
The car was registered to Wayne Atkins of Front Royal, 27, who told the investigating officer he was a passenger at the time. The driver’s identity had not been determined/ ' said Sgt. Morris.
Atkins was injured in the wreck, and his 1990 Ford pickup sustained $3,000 in damages.
The accident is still under investigation.
