Seminars to be held

In celebration of American Home Week, May 3-9, the Piedmont Association of REALTORS is sponsoring a series of “step-by-step” public home buying selling seminars to help you answer these and other questions to give you confidence in the decision making process.

The seminars, to be held at the Piedmont Technical School on U.S. 16 in Culpeper, will begin at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, May 14 and May 21.

The topic for the first evening session is “Am I Able To Buy a House?”

'Culpeper Day' to be held

The Culpeper Jaycees will be sponsoring “Culpeper Day” from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 2 on Davis St. in downtown Culpeper. The festival will take place rain or shine. Persons interested in reserving a space to display crafts, information and/or exhibits must send a completed entry form by April 16. The cost of each sapce (equivalent to a parking space) is $26. Antique show plahned

The Culpeper Extension Homemakers’s Council has set the weekend of May 16 and 17 for their second annual antique show. The show will be held at the Culpeper Agriculture Enterprise Grounds, Route 29 South, Culpeper. Spaces are available for dealers on a first come base.
