The featured dog at the Animal Shelter this week is a hound-shepherd cross, about 2 years old, tan with black on his tail. He is very friendly and was found on Route 612, Old Hollow. Other adoptable animals are a orange male cat named Preston* one year old; a year-old male lab-shepherd cross named Chester, tan in color; and a German shepherd cross female named Stormy, about 1 1/2 years old. The shelter is open from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. The lost animal registry can be found in the Classified Section of the Rappahannock News.
