Jay Katzen, GOP candidate for Delegate in the 31st District, which includes Rappahannock County, said that the Republican party will “return power to the people,” and that we will knock on doors and win.” ’ “
Katzen said his Democratic opi pponent, incumbent Delgate Jerry Wood, is trying to distance himself from the Democratic party and Pres* ident Clinton. “The voters are tired of the Clinton, Terry and Jerry show,” said Katzen.
U.S. Representative Frank Wolf, R-lOth, stressed that the “Republican party of the future is the party that reaches out,” and that we “will do what’s right.” He stressed that one vote can make a difference, and pointed to the recent tax bill in House of Representatives when Vice-president A1 Gore’s one vote broke the tie.
