Lastly, my credentials that Mr. Powers dismissed so easily consist of five-plus years as a member of the Rappahannock Water & Sewer Authority, current and past president of the Sperryville Business Council, member of the Board of Zoning Appeals, and, most importantly, father of a four-month-old daughter whom I hope to see grow up and enjoy this county as I have been able to do. I am sure that Mr. Powers has many substantial credentials of his own but there is one which I do not believe he has and I would politely suggest he add at his earliest convenience - completion of an intensive course of study of the nearest charm school.
