Linda Kay Smoot and Thomas Richard Baldwin III were united in marriage Aug. 28 at Thornton Gap Regular Baptist Church in Sperryville.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Smoot of Sperryville.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas R. Baldwin, Jr. of Franklin, Pa.
The double ring ceremony was performed at 2 p.m. by Rev. Kirby Shenk of Luray. Music was provided by Margaret Ann Wayland.
The bride was given in marriage by her father and mother and wore a white long gown of satin schiffli with a embroidery bisque waist line hredesent sequins, pearls with a scalloped V-neckline. The full skirt was accented with a bow on the midback, small bows surrounding and featuring designer lace with long venise lace sleeves.
Her headpiece was accented with sequins of white floral roses combined with tiny seed pearls with a touch of crystal. Her jewerly was several strands of pearls with matching pearl earrings.
She carried a bouquet of white roses with babysbreath and ivy.
Mary Ann Frazier, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. Her dress was a satin floor length royal blue dress with lace and bows.
Angela Frazier, friend of the bride, was the bridesmaid.
Samantha Baldwin, sister of the groom, was flower girl.
The both wore dresses identical to the matron of honor.
