RLEP Annual Meeting
Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection will be having it’s annual meeting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 23 at the Spring Mountain School. The presentation will be exciting as well as varied.
Fundraising Event
The Friends'of the Rappahannock Library will be having a fundraising event entitled, “A Novel Affair” at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 18 at The Meadows, the home of Edward and Martha Barton in Washington.
The event, featuring a light buffet and dancing, is designed around a literary motif and all guests are encouraged to come as their favorite literary character. All proceeds will go towards the replensihment and enhancement of the adult and children’s classics collection of the library. Tickets are $25 per person. Discuss Jewish Mysticism
Jewish mysticism will be disucssed at the Havura Ktana meeting at 6:45 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 19. The guest speaker and discussion lender will be Rabbi Hftrold White, chaplain at Georgetown University.
The meeting at the home of Mike and Carol Joseph, is open to all. Call 987-8813 for reservationa and instructions. A $5 donation is requested.
