The Ruritan Club will hold its annual picnic at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 16 at the Ruritan Building. Bring a covered dish; meat and drink will be provided.
The Amis8ville Volunteer Fire Department will conduct a CPR class Thursday, Sept. 16 beginning at 7 p.m. and again on Sunday, Sept. 19, beginning at 1 p.m. Classes last approximately 2-3 hours on Thursday, and possibly a little longer on Sunday.
There is a minimal fee to cover materials. You are urged to take advantage of this important opporunity. This is another example of how the fire department strives to better serve the community. Special thanks to all the volunteers!
Also, the Amissville Fire Department will hold a dance from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 18. The Royal Tones will be performing.
