To Jim Gilmore, Republican nominee for attorney general: Same advice as for Bill Dolan.
To all the Democratic candidates for state legislature: Never, never talk about Bill Clinton and his accomplishments. Concentrate on local issues and talk about how you can do more for folks back home as a member of the majority party in Richmond.
And to the Republican candidates for state legislature: Always bring up the Clinton Administration and point out that your opponent is, like Clinton, a Democrat. Contend that it is time to change majority parties in Richmond.
