Wednesday, Nov. 10 at the Madison County Extension Office. Classjes will be held every Wedneday for -17 weeks. Classes are not scheduled bn holiday weeks. The classes will be held from 1-4 p.m. and will rotate between the Madison, Culpeper, and Orange Extension Offices.
The Master Gardener program provides in-depth training in most aspects of horticulture. Participants are expected to give back at least the equivalent of 45 hours of volunteer time in exchange for the training.
Instruction, taught by Master Gardeners and Extension Agents, will include classes in the following areas: vegetable production, woody ornamentals, turfgrass, weed identification, soils, plant propagation and pathology, fruit production, insects, pruning, pesticides, and volunteerism.
