We extend a hearty Amissville welcome to Rev. Richard S. Gordon who is the new pastor at our United Methodist Church. Coming from the Petersburg District, he officially began his duties on July 1. We wish Rev. Gordon and the members of the church the very best as they begin to work together.
Happy 50th anniversary wishes go out to Marion and Wesley Woodward who were married on July 23, 1948! In honor of their golden anniversary, family and friends joined the couple in a celebration held on July 19 at the Amissville Baptist Church. The family thanks all that were able to attend. The next 50 should be a breeze!
