Christopher accompanied by Mrs. Alvin Atkins of Sperryville attended the Clarke County Fair and Tractor Pull in Berryville on Friday and were surprised to see some of our local county folk competing in the tractor pull.
Revival services at Bethel Baptist Church, Reva Way will begin Aug. 2 through Aug. 5 each evening at 7:30. Rev. John Miller, pastor of Alum Spring Baptist Church will be guest speaker and the public is invited.
Mr. and Mrs. Steven Clinedinst, Andrew and Anthony returned home Saturday from a three day church convention in St. Louisville, Ohio. Rev. Harry Miller is pastor there. Upon their arrival home Mr. Clinedinst was surprised that family and friends had arranged a birthday party, his day being Friday, July 24. Everyone present enjoyed a great time.
Mrs. Nina Peyton of Clover Acres, accompanied by Mrs. Alvin Atkins of Sperryville visited their pastor Elder and Mrs. Wayne Richards and daughter Terry in Luray on Thursday.
