The Smiths relaxed a couple of days July 18-20 on the Chesapeake Bay at Fleeton Beach in Reedville, located in Northumberland County, which is celebrating its 350th anniversary. Area visitors can cruise to Tangier Island, leaving from nearby Fairport.
Cathy Lou Smith member of Culpeper County School Board attended the Governor’s Conference on Education in Richmond July 21 and a Board Development meeting on July 22. Delegate Jay Katzen also attended the Governor’s Conference.
The Smiths also attended the funeral of his aunt Alice White on Sunday, July 26 in Selma, N.C. His uncle Hayes White died in January. The Whites lived in Centreville and Manassas, prior to moving to Pine Level, N.C. several years ago, and were wellknown by many in our area.
