Amissville celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary Sunday with a reception held in the social hall in the Amissville Baptist Church. About 50 friends were present for the reception to extend best wishes to the Woodwards. Gail Timmons was crowned queen of the Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department’s carnival Friday evening. There was $1,100 dollars collected in the queen contest.
