Culpeper resident
George Schlosser Ross, 92, of Culpeper, died Saturday, July 25 at the Culpeper Health Care Center.
Born July 23, 1906 in Gordonsville, he was the son of the late Jesse and Mattie Estes Ross.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Lotis P. Ross and his second wife Elizabeth P. Ross.
He was retired from the Stewart Petroleum Company.
He is survived by a stepson Dan S. Price Jr. and wife Gail of Rixeyville; two step grandchildren Shannon Price and Jo Lea Smith; three nieces and three nephews.
He was also predeceased by four brothers T.W. Ross Sr., Aubrey Ross, James W. Ross and Charles Luther Ross.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday at the Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Orange with the Rev. Hazel Eakin officiating.
Interment was in the Washington Masonic Cemetery in Washington.
