Definition
Lamb: Under 1 year old. All lambs must be wethers or ewes. There will be a weigh-in-tagging of all lambs to be shown during the fair. Contact your club leader or the Extension office for date. All lambs must be tagged on this date. Contracts must be completed and turned in at this weigh-in. Market lambs must be shown with V* inch of wool or less above the knees and hocks. Fleece length will be checked when lambs are weighed at fair time. Lambs must be docked. All lambs must be washed and dry. Failure to abide by ths rule means animal(s) will not be shown. Market lambs will be divided according to weight.
