1 believe Rappahannock County is doing a great job of involving the citizenry in planning our future. We are developing “vision” and “mission” statements. Through this process, we have decided we are a “scenic county.” We seem headed toward a sewage treatment system in Washington that will not pollute the Rush River. Hopefully, we are about to assure that Sperryville will not become another Gatlinburg or West Yellowstone. I believe we can deal equally well with the mobile home/family apartment question; let us work on it with the planning commission and board of supervisors — and let us remember that it comes in shades of gray, not black and white.
