The Rappahannock School
Board is considering the termination of band director Cecil Scott. We support Ms. Scott, and we want her to stay.
Ms. Scott was recently found guilty of three counts of petit larceny ($3, $5, $20). The evidence was largely circumstantial and this matter is pending appeal. She maintains that she only borrowed $3 for lunch money and fully intended to return it. We believe that she is guilty of nothing more than an error in judgment.
