Rules
Steers should weigh at least 500 pounds by January 1. Steer(s) should ideally finish to a “Choice” grade. Any steer grading below “Select” may be shown, but not sold. Family members may tag a joint steer as their backup choice. Each youth must claim one steer per member for his or her first animal. The optional animal may be claimed by either individual. The final decision must be made prior to weigh-in at the fair. Steerfs) must have been bom on or after Jan. 1 of the year prior to the Page Valley Fair, so that steerfs) will be no more than 19 months of age at show time. A statement as to the animal’s birth should be attached to the record book. All steers shown at the fair must be weighed, tagged, and tattooed. Contact
