Library is home to
bluebird nest boxes
A nest box labeled Jane Austen, as well as several other names may be found in the open areas around the Rappahannock Library. These boxes are an effort to help Eastern Bluebirds build to their former population levels. Bruce Jones supplied the boxes and placed them at various locations as suggested by John Trott.

Girls basketball
tryouts planned
JV Girls Basketball try-outs will begin on Aug. 9 at the Rappahannock County High School gym. Tryouts will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 11 a.m. All participants must have a completed V.H.S.L. physical. For further information contact Coach Rhonda Jenkins at 675-3083.
