Harriet Schauer Wood, 82, of Boston died July 31.
Mrs. Wood was born on June 26, 1917 in Holyoke, Mass., a daughter of William Emil Schauer and Mary Henrietta Schoenfeldt.
Mrs. Wood was a member of the Culpeper Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, VFW Ladies Auxiliary and St. Luke’s Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Charles A. Wood of Boston; two daughters, Gail B. Filyo of California, Md. and Peggy M. Wood and one son, Charles A. Wood Jr., both of Gaithersburg, Md.
Additional survivors include one grandson, Stephen Filyo Jr. of Frederick, Md. and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by a granddaughter, Terri Gail Gardiner and a son-in-law, Stephen Filyo Sr.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Aug. 3 at Found •and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred Hodges officiating.
Burial followed at Culpeper National Cemetery.
