Rappahannock News Staff Photo/Carl Eborn Kathy Ewell and her husband Gary hail from Virginia’s Eastern Shore and have been picking peaches in Rappahannock County for 20 years. Here, Kathy is picking in one of Tom Lee’s hilltop orchards off of Fodderstack Road. She commented ‘The peaches this year are as large and tasty as any we’ve picked in five years.” Mr. Lee says that he will have peaches for up to two more weeks.
