Mr. Chadwell was born Aug. 2, 1928 in Huntly, a son of the late John Daniel and Mattie Myrtle Rutherford Chadwell.

He retired in 1983 after 30 years of service as a foreman and supervisor for Kaiser Aluminum. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Land of Legend Big Buck Club, National Rifle Association, American Legion Post #85, Moose Lodge #499, Eagles Lodge #2801 and Kaiser Retirees Club.
