Frolic planned
You are cordially invited to the first Flint Hill Family Frolic to benefit the Front Royal Oratorio Society on Saturday, Aug. 14. It promises to be a fun-filled day with an old-fashioned trail ride and country picnic in the beautiful mountains of rural Virginia.
Trail riders will have choice of one of two guided trail rides from Flint Hill - one shorter, flatter loop of five to eight miles, or a second choice of 17 miles up the mountain trail and back.
Numbers will be limited, preregistration required by Aug. 8. Donation for the trail ride/picnic combo is $30 each, hard hat and signed release will be required. For more information on trail ride, call Ken Achenbach at 675-3095.
