At its final Steering Committee meeting on July 27, The Rappahannock ; County Conservation Alliance • (RCCA) selected its initial ' Board of Directors. The objec| tive, said organization facilitator Bayard Catron, “was to create a Board representative of all Rappahannock.” The • RCCA Nominating Committee, chaired by Lois Manookian, selected nominees from each of the county’s magisterial districts, of varying backgrounds and skills, and representing county natives and newcomers, landowners and home renters.
The slate of eleven directors includes Roberta Anderson, Don Audette, Bayard Catron, Brooke Fletcher, Douglas Ginsburg, Hal Hunter, Gary Light, Jerry Ochs, Chris Parrish, Hildy Teegen, and Roger Welch.
