Mabel Almira Gore, 92, of Sperryville died Tuesday, July 27 at Countryside Nursing Home in Madison.
She was born April 6, 1907 in Sperryville to the late Henry A. Brown and Almira Davis Woodard Brown.
Mrs. Gore was a member of Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church in Sperryville.
She is survived by two sons, Edward Gore and his wife Barbara of Sperryville and Donald B. Gore of Culpeper.
Additional survivors include four grandchildren, Heather and Keith Gore, Donna Foster and Christina Fantaci, all of Sperryville; a great-granddaughter, Lauren Fbster of Sperryville and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Edward W. Gore; four sisters, Helen Bruce, Eunice Partlow, Jessie Wayland and Gertrude Slusher and three brothers, Maury Brown, Henry Brown and Robert Brown.
Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, July 29 at Found and Sons Chapel with the Rev. Jon Heddleston.
Interment followed at Fairview Cemetery. , Pallbearfers were Victor Ceglie, Bobby Foster, Bruce Smith, Otis Gore, Paul Fincham, Doug Keyser, Andrew Gilliam and Ray Gore.
