Saturday night, and the kids went for a ride on the tractor Sunday morning.
On Aug. 15 Miss Rebel Dalton Hafner will be two years old. She is a great joy to mom Wendy and dad Dave.
Joe Tait announced that his wife Pearl’s daughter, Lanette Jerome, will celebrate her 20th wedding anniversary with husband Billy Jerome this week. The couple will renew their wedding vows in Beltsville, Md. Joe and Pearl plan to attend.
Joe Tait also reports that there have been several bear sightings in the Castleton area, and that the same bear could be the culprit that tore several of his pole-mounted bird feeders apart.
Some big critter turned our very heavy (but thankfully empty) wooden trash box over a few weeks back, and my neighbors Clyde (Randy) and Kelly Bennett had a bear in their front yard about the same time. Meanwhile, nearby neighbors have reported seeing a bobcat. I wasn’t sure I believed that until I found large (really large!) cat-like pawprints in our woods near the road.
