After our second cat came to stay, Calvin began looking around for an alternative situation. More than once he went up to see Ellen Mustoe, for whom he had a special fondness, and asked to spend the night.
At our neighbors, the Byams, he took up the position of chief greeter of guests and some even asked for him when they came a second time.
Calvin’s roaming habits were bound to get him into trouble, and the tragedy we feared finally came to pass. We shall miss him. Au revoir, Calvin.
