On either Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday of last week, someone passed a phony 20 dollar bill at Burgers N’ Things. It was discovered when the owner went to the bank to deposit the money. The counterfeit bill is an old style 20, with a small picture of Andrew Jackson.
The Sheriff’s Office has contacted as many businesses as possible to warn them. Sheriff Larry Sherertz wants to alert everyone to be on the lookout for these fake bills.
