Congratulations are extended to Lila and Chauncy Aldrich. On July 5 they celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.
They gathered at the home of their daughter, Lorna Aldrich in Washington, D. C. for dinner. Their son, grandchildren, and a great-grandchild traveled from Boston, Mass, to join in the celebration.
Mr. and Mrs. Aldrich’s friends and neighbors wish them a speedy recovery from their recent surgery.
Visitors of Doris Jones this week are her daughter, Paula Albanna, and grandchildren, Gabriella and Ghazi. Doris and her family will be spending a few days in Williamsburg.
Emory and Frances Conners along with Ken Marlor of Boston, and Kyle and Judy Alicie and sons, Scott and Sam of Culpeper were Sunday luncheon guests of Earl and Bess Aylor at the Golden Corral in Culpeper.
Sadie Norman’s visitors during the week were Mary Wiley, Flossie Wharton, Heather Dunn, Corey Norman, her friend Lisa and Jim and Kim Norman.
Saturday visitors of Mrs. Audra Crawford were Jim, Lillian, Missy, Brad, Thomas, Michael and Damian Sykes of Culpeper.
