Join the members of Bethel Baptist Church in the celebration of their choir’s anniversary on Saturday, Aug. 7, at 6 p.m. ~ The Walnut Grove Baptist Church of Warrenton and the Carter Singers from Falls Church will be the guest singers. Dinner will be served after the program. Everyone is invited to help the choir commemorate this special occasion.
Next Monday kicks off Vacation Bible School at the Amissville United Methodist Church. Vacation Bible School will run from Aug. 9 through Aug. 13 beginning at 9 a.m. and lasting until noon. Children ages three through seventh grade are invited to participate. For registration forms, please call 937-5480.
Kady Gum, Amber Dillard, and Jackie Sutphin recently attended the Girls in Action week long camp at Camp Little Cross Roads in Lowesville. Sponsored by the Woman’s Missionary Union through the Jeffersonton Baptist Church, the girls enjoyed meeting and hearing the projects of visiting missionaries, hiking, swimming, vespers, and making new friends.
