Pauline Warfield Carter, 82, of Amissville diecf July 24 at Warrenton Overlook [Center. * She was born Dec. 28, !l916. I Survivors include a daughter, Demetris Carter of Crest Hill; one son, Larry R. Carter, also of Crest Hill; one sister, Mathie Anderson of Washington, D.C. and two grandchildren, Timothy Carter of Warrenton and Carson Carter of Manassas.

Funeral services were conducted July 29 at Providence Baptist Church in Orlean by Rev. Frederick Jones and Rev. Lindsay Green.

Burial was at Trough Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Hume.

Joynes Funeral Home in Warrenton was in charge of the arrangements.
