Virginia Woodward

Virginia W. Woodward, 80, died July 22 in Norfolk, where she and her late husband, Edward W. Woodward have resided since the beginning of World War II.

Bom in Sperryville on May 10, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Bessie Alther Woodard.

She was predeceased by her brother, Wilson Woodard and her sister, Brownie Woodard Griffith.

Surviving are two sistersin-law, Emma Clatterbuck Woodard of Sperryville and Sarah Woodard Davis of Westchester, Pa.

Also surviving are one brother-in-law, Mack Woodard of Orange and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at the Calvary Assembly of God Church at Virginia Beach and interment was handled by the Woodlawn Funeral Home and crematory at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens of Norfolk.
