Surely in a county with some thousand school-aged kids, one could find fifty or a hundred parents who would seek an alternative to public education for their children, regardless of the quality of that public education. There are those who feel that their children require more direct attention, smaller class sizes, a more nurturing environment, a greater emphasis on arts or music or any number of things.
