Spring forward
' Daylight Savings Time begins this year at 2 a.m. on Sunday, April 1. So plan to set the clock ahead one hour before going to bed Saturday night - or risk arriving at church just as the service ends Sunday morning. , Though an hour of sleep will be lost this weekend, those distressed by the prospect may look forward to the last Sunday in October, when they can gain the hour back when Standard Time returns.

Kindergarten registration will held at Rappahannock County Elementary School on Tuesday, April 3, Wednesday, April 4 and Thursday, April 5 from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. by appointment only. For appointments and/or information call RCES at 987-8259.
Democrats meet
Tuesday, April 3
The Rappahannock County Democratic Committee will hold its regular monthly meeting on j l\iesday, April 3 at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Library.
Several resolutions will be brought before the Committee for approval, among them a resolution regarding campaign finance reform, a moratorium on the death penalty, and an endorsement of the Virginia CARES recommendation.
This meeting will also mark the beginning of the month long effort to contact all registered voters in Rappahannock. A bit of theatrical falderol launching this effort will provide some entertainment and perhaps some encouragement.
