To aid in attracting goldfinches to your yard plant sunflowers, coreopsis, cosmos, serviceberry, birch, sweet gum, mulberry, hemlock, zinnias, elm and alder as garden food plants. And as with most birds, a source of water is important. Goldfinches love to bathe. Offer water in a birdbath or with a dripper.
