• The Brown Bag Luncheon with RCHS Principal Mr. Joe Perine on Wednesday, March 21 was interesting and fun. This was a new approach to the monthly RCHS PAC meetings and was well received. In spite of the pouring rain and impending early release, six parents braved the elements to attend. Each meeting has a different focus and parents are encouraged to ask questions and offer suggestions.
The April meeting, due to Spring Break, will be on the fourth Wednesday evening in the RCHS Library from 6 to 7 p.m. Please come!
• The Junior Panther Soccer Team has begun practices under the able coaching of Mr. Kenny Rogers and his assistant Daniel Ramey. This is the latest of the Middle School “feeder” programs to get underway this year, and we are very excited about the future prospects. Please take time this spring to attend a Junior Panther or Rappahannock Soccer League game. You are sure to be entertained. • If you have not yet had an opportunity to view the Primary (K-3) Science Fair at RCES, you still have time. The Fair will continue through 11 a.m. on Friday. The purpose of this Fair is to familiarize* our youngest students with the concept of the scientific process. Teachers, students and parents work cooperatively to complete these very interesting projects. The Fair is open to the public and we appreciate your support.
• Members of the Rappahannock Lions Club spent several days last week at RCES conducting vision and hearing testing for many of our students. The Lions
