Ann Sharp and Board Vice-Chair Aline Johnson who personally summed up the School Board’s appreciation for the dedication, generosity and volunteer community service provided by the Lions Club. And Mrs. Johnson speaks with the authority of long experience. She had once been a highly successful athletic coach for girls sports teams in Rappahannock County. Even though her husband is a charter member of the club we don’t believe,, she’s biased. But she sure can cut up apples to help make that famous apple butter. TTie more than 20 Lions also present could attest to that.

Lion Larry Sherertz was also among those present at the dedication. Since he is also our county sheriff, we asked him to keep the peace. He did.
