In the final quarter the RCHS side battled back to within one point before finally losing by the final score of 40 to 37. Johnson led the team with 16 points and Weakley added 14 in the losing effort.
It was more of the same for the junior varsity as they faced the JV Lady Bulldogs from Luray earlier in the evening. The JV Lady Panthers played a good game but fell short, and as Head Coach Stefanie Shaw said, “...much improved over our last meeting with them. Hopefully, we can build on that...”
