No—this is not about another controversial “Up in the Hollow” column in The Rappahannock News, nor about a repeat of this year’s Cooterfest, but it is about Ben “Cooter” Jones agreement to MC the Tidal Wave of Song Concert on Sept. 22 at the Hearthstone School - in Sperryville.

Thanks to a scheduling change, Mr. Jones can now continue his participation in the Kid Pan Alley project by lending his Georgia drawl to the host’s microphone and, perhaps, sing again in an unforgettable rendition of “I Don’t Know,” one of the fifty songs written by Rappahannock elementary school kids.

“Cooter” Jones’ participation will pretty much make this outdoor event a wrap—at least in terms of the entertainment provided. There will be tons, literally, of musical talent at this celebration of our
