Next Wednesday, Sept. 19 the Rappahannock
Planning Commission will meet to consider its
recommendations to the Board of Supervisors on the applications for Personal Wireless Services , Facilities Use Permits in our county.
All concerned citizens, applicants, adjacent property owners and any other parties desiring to be heard should be present to express their opinions. If you are unable to attend written correspondence may be addressed to the Board of Supervisors, P.O. Box 519, Washington, Va. 22747.
Applications before the Commissioners include seven locations. They are:
1. Construction of a 199 ft. monopole Category 4 facility on property owned by Robert and Joan Duxbury located on Weaver Road in Amissville, Jackson District.
2. Construction of a 80 ft. monopole Category 4 facility on property owned by Eugene and Evangeline Nicholson located on Lee Highway in Amissville.
3. Construction of a 80 ft. monopole Category 4 facility on property owned by Louise Fletcher King Eastham in the Mulky Mountain Agricultural and Forestal District on Ben Venue Road in Washington, Jackson District.
4. Construction of a 90 ft. stealth silo Category 2 ^facility on property owned by Thomas B. and Aney M. Massie located on Lee Highway in Washington.
5. Construction of a ninety ft. stealth silo Category 2 facility on property owned by D. Brooke and Ann Miller in the Haskell Agricultural and Forestal District on Lee Highway in Washington.
6. Construction of a 80 ft. monopole Category 4 facility on property owned by Arland Welch on Zachary Taylor Highway in Flint Hill.
7. Construction of a 100 ft. stealth silo Category 2 facility on property owned by Arland Welch on Little •• Long Mountain Road in Huntly. * A copy of the applications is on file at the Zoning Office in Washington and available for public inspection, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Rappahannock citizens are encouraged to attend the County Planning Commission meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County High School auditorium. It could well be the most important meeting yet.
