back, Jake Rosenbaum helped his dad set the opening line up. Striker Daniel Rollins volunteered to play goalie in first h&lf to help the team defense. Culpeper scored several goals in the first and second halves, keeping Rappahannock scoreless throughout. Our team fought hard during the whole game and never let down even though we had only 11 players and no substitutes. The new coach is anxious to practice with the team and bring a well drilled and organized U-12 team to the next game.
The U-14 team, coached by Tom Pendleton, had a by this weekend but still set up a scrimmage with Culpeper U-14 at home. Culpeper scored first taking advantage of a line up change that had Rapp out of position.
