Complete details on the location and design of the two Sprint PCS telecommunication towers proposed for siting in the Amissville area will be presented at the Thursday, Sept. 13 Amissville Area Community Association meeting.

These two towers make-up the eastern segment of the tower system proposed for the county. Site maps, photo simulations and tower descriptions will be presented. These siies and the complete Sprint application are also on the next Planning Commission agenda.

Final planning for the upcoming Amissville’s second Fall Festival will also be discussed. Events and activities are being finalized. Currently over 40 community churches, civic groups, and local businesses and area crafters confirm participation. In addiJiOn to a wide variety of food,” a silent auction, games, aid music (including local chdrch choirs); demonstrations of traditional home skills such'as spinning are planned.

A special emphasis has been placed on the community’s history, with a booth shoeing local historical homes! All interested participants and anyone interested to attend pr assist in the event are invited to attend. ;
